Everyone likes a hero. The key for companies is to carefully define what a hero does. 

Is it the team that drops everything and works 30 hours straight to fix a massive customer outage…. or …

the team you never see, the ones who keep things running by executing on process, doing system checks and doing proactive maintenance…

One’s got star appeal… the other is worth millions.
